Easton wakes up playing or wakes up crying. I love when he wakes up playing. He just talks and moves around in his crib until I decide to go get him. When I finally get him, he is always so excited. I love it.

Update

We have had two busy and fun weekends.

We went to Leamington the 9th of August to see Joe, Celeste, and Brindi. We played lots of card games! Jonathan even played one card game - SCUM! We are sad Joe, Celeste, and Brindi are moving so far away, but are excited to see them again at Christmas.

We had barbecued ribs and barbecued chicken at Rebecca's on Saturday, August 16th. Sunday, we went to Victoria's house to see Dempsey! What a darling baby girl. We had fun visiting, celebrating Griffon's birthday, and watching the Olympics.

Petersen Campout

We went to the Petersen Campout Friday through Sunday. It was so much fun that John said we are definitely going to the entire thing next year (Thursday through Sunday). We played mafia Friday night and sang songs Saturday night. During the days, we played lots of cards and had many good conversations. Many rode their bikes down to Oak City, as well as went on a hike. Mariah and Christie also had a baby shower; they are both having boys, which I am thrilled about! Sunday, we had church. Jordan was the speaker. He did a really good job. Also, our Grandpa Petersen spoke to his posterity, and he got a little choked up, which is no surprise at all! Sunday, we went back to Leamington and played lots of card games, watched home movies, and played mafia with the kids since they didn't get to play in the canyon. We had a great weekend!
