6 Quirky Things

I am catching up on some tags from Charity! The first one is I have to tell 6 quirky things about me. Charity tagged John as well, but he won't do tags.

1. I stare without realizing it.

2. I can pop my nose.

3. I hate onions. I don't think this is quirky, but a lot of people have told me I am "weird" because I hate them.

4. I will do anything in order to shower everyday (even if I am camping).

5. I can't stand wet hair on my neck.

6. I love squash! Again, I don't think this is quirky, but a lot of people have told me that "squash" is the vegetable you give away. I don't agree with that at all.

I tag Liz, Hejdi, and Kristen!

Military Crawl

Walk

We went for a stroll Sunday evening. It was so fun. Easton refuses to stay in a stroller for longer than 10 minutes so we carried him. He was out pretty fast.

New Carpet!

We FINALLY got new carpet. John and I even moved everything by ourselves. Yes, we were able to get that gigantic TV down and back in its place, as well as our loft bed. The best part about this new carpet is that we got a great deal. We prepaid and scheduled a two day install. The first day they installed, we found out they did not have enough carpet to finish the bedroom. I was so mad because we wouldn't have chosen the carpet we did if we knew it would cost an extra $500. I was mad and frustrated when my Dad surprised us during lunch the next day. He called the manager, and RC Willey took the blame for what happened! I was thrilled. Anyways, we had to wait two weeks for them to finish the install, but it is done now. We love it. It is darker and softer.

Crazy Hair

Dad decided I needed a new hairdo, but Mom didn't approve...

Regional Conference

We attended Regional Conference today at the Conference Center!  It was the first time John and I have seen President Thomas S. Monson speak in person since he has been the prophet.  We thoroughly enjoyed the conference.  The prophet told a cute story at the beginning of his talk.  He said he was sitting between President Hinckley and President Faust.  President Hinckley told him to nudge him if he started to snooze.  President Faust also told him to nudge him if he started to snooze.  Of course, President Monson was thinking, "If the prophet starts to snooze, I have to let him know that?"  Anyways, both President Hinckley and President Faust started to snooze so President Monson nudged President Hinckley and said, "President Hinckley, President Faust is sleeping."  President Hinckley jammed his arm into President Faust so quick!  I am sure I misquoted some of that, but I hope you got the gist of it.

Photo Shoot!

I finally took Easton in for a professional photo. John thought I was crazy and told me that I could do it myself. Out of curiosity, I decided to try. I didn't do too well. He would not sit still and smile for the life of me. I think I took 250 photos. Click the image!

Leamarado Days

September has been a busy month!  It started off with Leamarado Days!  The morning of Leamarado Days was a 5K.  Robert, Kari, Amy, and David all ran.  Robert placed 2nd and David placed 3rd so they each won $5!  It was kind of cold that day so the program was inside.  JaCee, Alexis, and Abi performed.  They were as cute as can be.  Amy donated a trophy/plaque she won a long time ago to the museum.  I bought the LAST red, white, and blue Leamington shirt.  Bret and John won the balloon toss.  At the rodeo, Ashlee won the Muttin Bustin.  Jaxon was definitely second place.  My nieces and nephews seem to always win at the Hinckley and Leamington rodeos.  I love that!  Last, but not least, Robert won the raffle for a gun.  We also enjoyed seeing Taylor, Jamie, Jill, and Jake.
